Robyn's E News 10 March 2010

Hi All,

The mid week hump here already, is it just me or is the year flying for everyone else as well?

It's fantastic to see so many people out and about training. Race 1 of the Sprint Series will give us our first look in ages at the form of those with fast twitch fibres. It's been a while (way back in September) since we did a "real" tri, so Sunday's event is expected to draw a big crowd.

Thanks to those who have volunteered to assist on Sunday. RD Barry still requires another volunteer to act as course marshal at one of the bike turnarounds. We won't be able to start the event if this position can't be filled, so if you or someone you know, can volunteer please contact Barry (see below).

Sounds like perfect conditions for our members racing there. Go, go, go !!

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A polite TRIATHLETE WHEN...

... you know not to be on your aerobars in a group ride
... you don't spit or snot when group running or riding
... you don't grab, push or pull others during the swim leg (it's not combat swimming!)

Excuse me while I spill tears of frustration. The world's best E News went down the gurgler due to ........ mmmmm perhaps my multi tasking skills aren't up to scratch this morning.
